It is made of primarily neoprene sealed high density vinyl foam acetate, the core material used in MMA fight padding, making it fairly impact resistant yet lightweight and comfortable.

The lights in the eye region only shine outward and do not interfere with vision.
Both the lights and the internal blower fan are operated by an included 5v usb rechargeable cell. This battery can be swapped with any usb battery. The battery is not located on the helmet, but rather the helmet has a 4ft cable in the back so it can be stored any pocket on your outfit.

Helmet fits most with a MAX 23" cranium size. This one in particular will not fit for larger heads*** Please measure your head beforehand to determine if it will fit, as returns will not be accepted for fitting issues.
